This village is still in development – once complete, this stunning village will offer a range of modern, high quality living & care options to our residents.This is a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career as a Caregiver!About the Role:
With our Care Centre opening, we are looking for supportive Caregivers to join the team to bring the best of life to our residents. This is a busy and diverse role, assisting residents with their day-to-day activities such as showering, delivering meals and much more.Therefore, you will need to be resilient, kind and patient, while a good level of fitness will prove useful for delivering the best in personal care. You will be joining a well established and supportive team environment.We are anticipating a start date of 3 February 2025 for this role.Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care to residents under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse
- Working as part of a team to support creating an enjoyable and safe home for residents
This is a permanent, full-time role with a rotating shift pattern with a minimum of 60 hours & a maximum of 80 hours per fortnight.This is a developmental role that will grow your ability as a Caregiver and provide you with the skills and knowledge to create a career in healthcare.Please to view the full job description.QualificationsAbout you:
You will be a passionate individual with genuine compassion for all kinds of people from all walks of life. To be a successful you will bring:
- A keen interest in wanting to kickstart your career as a Caregiver with a genuine interest and passion for aged care
- or have previous experience in aged care, and hold a relevant qualification.
- Eager ability to learn and pick up new skills
- Be a team player and be able to manage your time well in order to complete all your tasks.
- The ability to work on a rostered and rotating shift pattern (including mornings, afternoon and weekends).
