Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their lives?A Japanese owned child daycare center is currently hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time Infant/Toddler Caregiver and Preschool Teacher. The center provides early childhood education and childcare for children ages 12 weeks through 12 years. Our daycare services are available year-round and island-wide, including visitors from all over the world. The facilities are located at family-friendly resorts with an oceanfront in the heart of Waikiki.Bring your love of children and your child-raising experience or early childhood education to our dedicated and caring team.Location: Honolulu, Hawaii, USAJob Type: Full-Time/Part-TimeResponsibilities:
- Design and follow a full schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching material
- Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to enhance the childs abilities
- Supervise children, being sure each individual child is safe from all harmful hazards and activities
- Assist with keeping the environment organized and appropriate for the day activities
- Assist with setting up and cleaning up of daily meals and activities scheduled
- Collaborate with other staff members
Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (E.C.E.) or Child Development (C.D.)
- Fluent Japanese language skills and conversational English language skills
- Must have U.S. work authorization
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong communication and time management skills
